Advanced Riding Techniques Ltd
Here at Advanced Riding Techniques, we pride ourselves on quality of service to both our customers and our staff; we strive to achieve industry led status in the field of all motorcycle tuition. For this reason, we do not run “instructor training courses”. The idea behind our Motorcycle Instructor Day is to give you a chance to come & get involved with some of the best & most experienced trainers in the UK. Please read our
customer feedback
to see what others have to say about our training. All of our training is carried out at our amazing site
Woodlands
so no ferrying bikes or customers about in vans or to car parks, we are a one stop, shop, fully supported by P&H motorcycles.
ART train all of our customers at a maximum of a 2:1 ratio, this gives the maximum amount of time for both the Instructor and student to be safe and comfortable with learning new skills. Other will run CBT's at 3:1 and even 4:1! This puts both parties under a lot more pressure to safely complete, and is one of the main reasons instructors have to deal with upset customers, not having enough time to learn and leads to them "failing to complete" their CBT.
We run Instructor days only once or twice a year. This one day course is run by ART’s senior staff and is the first step to becoming a motorcycle instructor. The charge for the day is £49. Course runs from 08:30 to 16:30 and includes full briefing notes and lunch.
Next course date - Sunday April 28th 2024
We only train Instructors who would like to work for ART in Copthorne
*. However if you live outside of Sussex & Surrey this course is ideal to give you a very realistic look at what is involved. It is very much a "hands on" day covering all aspects from legal requirements, customers service to basic maintenance.
A passion for all things motorcycle and the freedom & commitment to work at least 24 days (Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays) per calendar year are required if you would like to work for ART. Initial training/qualification is a minimum of 30 days per year for the first 3 years. We do not charge for training you, but instead ask for a solid commitment and we train you for free!
Our instructor training is done over a period to suit both your schedule and individual needs. Be very wary of any companies or training schools that want to charge you money up front to "train" you as an instructor, the first question to ask is "will there be a job available at the end of the course?".
If you need any further information then please send an email first, along with your CV and a covering letter of why you would like to be a motorcycle instructor. The next course date is Sunday April 28th 2024.
Please click the Book M/C Trainer button to secure your place online.
This course is strictly non refundable, please bear this in mind before booking!
